Cooling Coils

Are you facing issues with the outdoor unit of your air conditioner are you looking forward to replace the existing outdoor unit with a new one?  When planning to replace the outdoor unit, many people have a doubt whether to replace the indoor unit as well. The answer for this doubt will be a big yes, since experts recommend replacing the indoor and outdoor unit together in order to have matched system. It is very much important to have a matched cooling system in your air conditioner for proper output from the device. The outdoor and indoor units of air conditioner are specifically manufactured to work together with the corresponding indoor or outdoor unit. It is possible to operate the air conditioner with different indoor units for a particular outdoor unit, but you may have to compromise on the performance and efficiency of the entire system.

Considering replacement of both the units as costly affair, you may stay content with the replacement of either of the two units. Yet the fact is that, you may have to spend lot of your hard earned money in a long run in order to get rid of the issues with you may come across as a result of this mismatched units. On the other and in few cases it may pave way for complete breakdown of the air conditioner. So, always make it a point to use matched indoor and outdoor units for your cooling system. Among different parts in the air conditioner, it is the cooling coils that play a prominent role in the cooling process. As a result after using them for long run, you might come across few issues with it.  Way back in early days, it wasn’t that easy to purchase matching indoor cooling coils for appropriate outdoor units. These cooling coils now come in different series. Few among them are RCFL, RCFN, RCQD, RCSL and RCSN. As you read on you can get to know specification of these series of cooling coils.

RCFL series: These RCFL are cased and uncased N coils with R-410 specification, which can be used for furnace, HP and AC applications. Energy saving does play a prominent roles while choosing a product. This series of cooling coils have 13-16 SEER. Hence these are energy efficient.

RCFN series: Even RCFN series cooling coils are cased and uncased N-coil with R-410A specification, with applications in Ac and HP. This series of coil have the highest energy efficiency of about 18 SEER.

RCQD series: RCQD series of cooling coils are high efficient indoor coils with 450 to 2700 CFM and superb air flow capacities. These too have high energy efficiency of about 16 to 18 SEER with applications in heat pump and A coil cased no cover.

RCSL series: RCSL series are used in heat pump and AC applications and these are uncased replacement only they have a SEER N-Coil of about 13-16.

RCSN series: RCSN is also similar to RCSL with uncased replacement, AC and heat pump application and Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating of about 13-16.
